The Grenadine Islands

Caribbean Sailing Vacation in the GrenadinesThe Grenadine Islands consists of a host of over 16 beautiful islands that are unspoilt by the general difficulty in which to access them. The islands we generally visit on a 5-day to a week’s tour are generally inhabited. The inhabited ones tend to have beautiful, safe anchorages, access to ice and sometimes a few shops and restaurants.

Turtle of the Caribbean SeasWe often set off from Bequia, the island just down from St Vincent and throughout a week we choose a choice of islands according to the interests of the guests on board with a lot of sailing guidance from The Captain. The inhabited islands are

Bequia-Beautiful - little island, hosting some glorious beaches, banks, & shops.
Mustique - A Private island of the Rich and famous.
Canoun - The only island with a golf course, home to The Moorings Sailing Co.
Mayreau - One of the islands without an airport and about 250 people in population.
Palm Island - A Private Island, home to a famous painter, also diver & doctor on The island , Dr Patrick Chevailler.
Union Island - The southern capital of The Grenadines, banks & A Police station.
Petit St Vincent - Island of a private Resort, Last Island of the Grenadines before Grenada.
