Caribbean Holidays in Tobago

Holidays in the Caribbean and TobagoTobago hosts no yacht clubs. The only accessible jetty is from Pigeon Point which has a daily fee to visitors and a cost to yachts if they use the jetty. Yachts tend to access the beaches via dinghys. Any water or fuel stores are also brought via dinghys. There is a sense of real exploration when roaming Tobago's bays due to the lack of real amenities and the extremely rustic restaurants and bars that one stumbles upon.

Holidays in the Caribbean and TobagoTobago is a beautiful island to explore. You can drive around the island in a day. For the more sporty, mountain biking is a very popular sport on the island and the treks are incredible, stumbling on hidden bays, and sheer cliff edges. Horseback Riding is also available, often starting up in the mountains, leading down to the beaches, ending up with a BBQ on the beach. Golf enthusiasts have a lovely course at Mount Irvine. The golf course has been laid around lakes and mangroves hosting quite breath taking views. Tobago's Main Ridge reserve is a perfect setting for Hikers and Bird watchers.

Tobago hosts over 20 dive shops that cater for all types of divers. Other watersports available are kitesurfing, Hobi-Cat sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, Tube rides and much, much more. There is a friendly Sailing Regatta sponsored locally by the THA (Tobago House of Assembly) held around Store Bay & Pigeon Point that attracts many yachts on the Caribbean Regatta circuit. It’s held the weekend after Trinidad & Tobago Carnival, so the atmosphere is very festive.
