Tradewinds Cruise
St. Vincent & The Grenadines
Arrival Day
Your catamaran will be moored at Bequia Marina, Port Elizabeth, in beautiful Admiralty Bay on the island of Bequia. This is one of the favourite yachting ports of the Caribbean. Upon arrival at our office in the Marina, you will be greeted by our operations manager for check in. Then meet your crew, fellow sailors and enjoy a refreshing Welcome cocktail. After being shown to your cabin and introduced to your new home for a week, take a little time to settle in. Enjoy a delicious dinner aboard, your yacht remains in the harbour for the evening to allow you to enjoy either a relaxing time onboard or the charms of Port Elizabeth with its quaint restaurants and bars.
Cruising Day 1
Breakfast is served then you will then set sail for the island of Mustique, a unique privately owned island developed for the rich and famous. If you want to participate in the handling of the yacht and sails, you can do so, but should you rather just lie back and relax, it is all up to you. When you arrive in Britannia Bay, jump in to the crystal clear waters for some reef exploration before lunch is served. After lunch, a trip around the island by rented golf cart or horseback riding is highly recommended. The windward beaches are stunning; make sure you do not miss Macaroni Beach! For scuba divers, there is a nice wreck dive just off Montezuma shoals where our dive master will take you for the first of your dives during the cruise. We often see turtles, rays and the harmless nurse sharks. Enjoy a cocktail at Basils Bar before heading back to your yacht for another wonderful evening meal.
